Special Effects Photography

I taught my 4-H photographers how to create special effects without the use of Photoshop. Here are some of my favorite photos. All of the photos were produced and shot by the 4-H photography students at Walnut Creek Elementary.

I met Greg Davis while on assignment for the Houston Chronicle. A point-and-shoot camera and one photograph titled The Basket Weaver, seen behind him, helped launch his career as a travel photographer. His story reminds me of a quote that my first photography professor always said.
